15. … Seguindo a guia do Concílio Vaticano II, os Padres Sinodais chamaram a atenção para a ação múltipla e diversificada do Espírito Santo, que continuamente espalha as sementes da verdade no entre todos os povos, suas religiões, culturas e filosofias 1 . Isto significa que essas religiões, culturas e filosofias são capazes de ajudar as pessoas, individual e coletivamente, a lutarem contra o mal e a servirem a vida e tudo o mais que seja bom. As forças de morte isolam as pessoas, sociedades e comunidades religiosas umas das outras, gerando 1222 suspeita e rivalidade que levam ao conflito. O Espírito Santo, pelo contrário, sustenta as pessoas na sua busca de entendimento e aceitação recíproca. Por isso, o Sínodo justamente viu o Espírito de Deus como o principal agente do diálogo da Igreja com todos os povos, culturas e religiões. [472] 15. … Following the lead of the Second Vatican Council, the Synod Fathers drew attention to the multiple and diversified action of the Holy Spirit who continually sows the seeds of truth among ali peoples, their religions, [473] cultures and philosophies 1 . This means that these religions, cultures and philosophies are capable of helping people, individually and collectively, to work against evil and to serve life and everything that is good. The forces of death isolate people, societies and religious communities from one another, and generate the suspicion and rivalry that lead to conflict. The Holy Spirit, by coritrast, sustains people in their search for mutual understanding and acceptance. The Synod was therefore right to see the Spirit of God as the prime agent of the Churchfs dialogue with ali peoples, cultures and religions.
